The new positioning "the BLUE COUNTRY"
creates a new profile and opens best routistic perspectives.
With a new image folder and host listing the market municipality
Murnau and the sieved further places of the tourism community introduce
themselves approximately around the Staffelsee -
Seehausen, Uffing, Eglfing, Riegsee, Großweil, Grafenaschau
and Spatzenhausen - with a new name, a new
signature and a stronger positioning: THE BLUE COUNTRY
The term the BLUE COUNTRY for the Alpine foreland around Murnau was
coined/shaped approximately by the world-well-known artists of the "blue
rider" Franz Marc, Gabriele Muenter and Wassily Kandinsky - in the
resemblance to the special light and colour tendencies, which lakes,
moorlands and mountains into pictorial blue tones to often dip. The
colour blue refers naturally also to Murnau as place of birth of the "blue
rider", the 1911 created group of artists of the same name.
The BLUE COUNTRY documents an inheritance, of whom Murnau is proud.
It opens an inestimable advantage with the marketing of a vacation
region, in which nature, art and culture a connection unmistakable in
this form are received. The combination of nature and culture leads away
from the exchangeable one, the "product blue country" receives a still
more differentiated profile.
Made with a "museum route" art-interested beside the lock museum and
Muenterhaus also on surrounding museums the topic attentive. Numerous
guest programs dedicate themselves to the pictorial landscape in the
BLUE COUNTRY, of MOO guidance by the largest intact moorland in the alps
over excursion ions by the Seidlpark up to the bird voice
migration "on the traces of the quail king". Apart from led wheel and
moving routes special arrangements load like e.g.. "moving and
biking on the traces of the blue rider" to
experience nature.
